This display has had a NEW LCD installed. We typically bench test in house, but due to the complexity of the system are unable to test further than powering on and testing basic functions. In light of this, we will give the buyer a 30-day period to install and test the item to confirm functionality. We highly recommend contracting a SmartCraft technician to install and test, as some of the items in the system may require additional programming, software updates, etc. This particular display has the Mercury Racing software version 3.11.0.802 installed which is why the part number has been updated to 8M0034879.
It appears that the Mercury Racing boot-up screen is experiencing a slight pixelation issue or visual glitch, which differs from the typical vessel views we’ve had. All other basic functions aren’t effected & it doesn’t seem the visual glitch effects anything other than the boot up screen (See Photos). We know this isn’t a screen or LCD issue due to a new LCD being installed and none of the units other screens have the glitch.
